Learn More »This month, we celebrate the emerald anniversary of Nordell!
2023 marks our 55th year since our first company registration as Component Moulders at King Edwards Close in Worthing.
We have come a long way since then!
This picture shows our first-ever moulding machine.
It was the first of its type to be delivered to a manufacturer in the UK, as advertised in the PRW all those years ago.
It cost a mere ÂŁ14,500, while the average house price in the area was ÂŁ3,900!
Today, we employ over 100 people at our modern factory in Worthing, housing over 30 of the latest electric and servo injection moulding machines.
We offer a full range of plastic injection moulding services, including:
As well as complementary services, including:
Our factory systems and data are managed using Demiaworks end-to-end ERP System developed to increase efficiency and visibility of performance.
As we look to the future, we will continue to invest in our team and processes, delivering what matters most to our customers.
We will continuously adapt the business, seeking opportunities to provide market-leading sustainable solutions and reduce our CO2 footprint.
Our factory already has over 800 solar panels installed, generating enough energy to power our factory when there is sufficient sunshine.
We have reduced our energy usage by replacing old moulding machines; we have switched to LED lighting and are using PIR and timers to only use energy when required amongst some of our Green initiatives.
One of the most significant sustainable developments we are already supporting is the advancement of plant-based, renewable and compostable polymers.
We work closely with suppliers and customers to test and deliver green, plant-based alternatives.
What will this look like in another 55 years?
Thank you to all our past and present employees and our customer and supplier partners for your continued support.
